Keanu Reeves Gifted ‘John Wick 4’ Stunt Crew T-Shirts That Listed the Number of Times They Died in the Movie

Actor Keanu Reeves showed his appreciation for the hard work of the stunt crew on the set of “John Wick: Chapter 4” by gifting them with T-shirts that had the number of deaths each stunt person faced in the movie. The action-packed sequel utilized the same stunt workers in multiple scenes, resulting in some crew members facing over 20 deaths. For the iconic staircase fight scene, 35 stunt workers were used, with many of them dying multiple times.

Despite the difficulty of the scene, fight coordinator Jeremy Marinas said it was just another day at work. Reeves personally performed all the stunts related to John Wick ascending the staircase, while stunt double Vincent Bouillon handled the 44-second fall down the stairs. The scene took seven night shoots, with each stunt man being "killed" four or five times.

At the end of filming, Reeves gifted his stunt team personalized Rolex Submariner watches with personal messages engraved inside. Marinas posted about the watches on his Instagram, calling it the “best wrap gift ever.” Reeves’ stunt team on the film consisted of Bruce Concepcion, Jeremy Marinas, Dave Camarillo, and Li Qiang.
